Keyframes progress

First keyframes progress post. According to our current animatic the dream scene lasts for about 25 seconds. The 12 first seconds show a peaceful cosmos with creatures, the rest show the "glitch" caused by the narration being cut off and the cosmos turning hostile. This gif compiles the keyframes of the big creature for the 12 first seconds including the shift (accelerated for web preview). Obviously the creature will be masked to appear BEHIND the tree and music player.

feedback and preparation for next term

The flames I made are nice but there is room for improvement. I was told to look at Hades from the Hercules Disney movie for inspiration. The flames and water splash in the movie are very well thought and some are designed after roman pottery and columns. I need to look into that and make the deformation of my flames more obvious and push the shapes a bit more.
